About Us

“Gaudeamus” is radio station of Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania. It is non commercial radio playing different styles of jazz and making shows about various alternative music styles. We broadcast our programme on the internet and on 93.6 MHz FM in Kaunas city.

We select music very thoroughly for our radio combining some unusual and rare classics with nowadays compositions having real sense of future.

Students and university personnel work in our radio. They are people who explore the world around us every day, people who are interested, why everything happens in the way it is, and people who want to tell others about their discoveries.

We are glad to tell that we have many fans in all over the world. You write us your remarks which are very important to us. Many things improved in “Gaudeamus” are inspired by YOU.

I love this radio station. I live in Canada, and we have a great jazz station in Toronto jazz.fm. They play true jazz. And so do you. It is very rare. Aciu uz muzika!
