UK soulful house duo, DJ/Producers/Label Owners and re-mixers to the stars “Jonny Montana & Craig Stewart” need little introduction these days after a string of top ten hits.
Releases on some of the coolest labels in the world MN2S, Nervous, Soul Heaven, Soundmen On Wax, Universe Media, Seamless and others. Always working with the very best singer/songwriters including Dawn Tallman, Michael Watford, Leroy Burgess, Sofia Rubina, Meli’sa Morgan, Diviniti, Kim English, Andrea Love, Mina Jackson, Melba Moore, Stephanie Cooke, Kafele Bandele. February 2011 saw the guys release their first ever original production which shot straight into the top 10 “I Need U Back” featuring the sensational “Sofia Rubina” on “Universe Media”. 2011 will see the guys reduce remix output whilst they focus their attention on original material.
They’re delighted to be managed by “Martina Lancaster” head of the impressive UK imprint “Universe Media” bringing 20yrs of music industry experience to the table.
Their latest sound, has an extra special edge as they up their game and introduce more and more live instrumentation using top musicians, you can catch them on the decks near you, and tune into their monthly radio shows featuring special guests on over 50 radio stations around the world.
Their solo projects continue to strengthen with Jonny continuing his work with top artists, including the highly acclaimed “Collective Spirits” which delivers its debut album early 2011. Craig’s deep house project moves forward with releases on Acryl, Look Ahead Records, Guess, 3345 Music, Disclosure Project and others, also showcasing his love for deep, underground house music.
