Live streaming

1. When I try to play Gaudeamus radio on my Winamp player, I get a file save dialog window, which offers me to save “listen.pls” file to my computer and I get no Gaudeamus sound…

This reason is one of the folowing:
A. You haven’t installed Winamp music stream player. Please download them from Winamp website.
B. Your Winamp player isn’t configured properly. Please start Winamp player, go to “File” menu and click “Play URL”, enter address http://ktu-r.bt.ktu.lt:8000 for 192 kbps stereo stream, o http://ktu-r.bt.ktu.lt:8002 for 128 kbps stereo stream.

2. When I try to play Gaudeamus radio on my VLC player, I get a file save dialog window, which offers me to save “listen.pls” file to my computer and I hear no sound…

This reason is one of the folowing:
A. You haven’t installed VLC music stream player. Please download them from VLC website.
B. Your VLC player isn’t configured properly. Please start Winamp player, go to “File” menu and click “Open File”, in the “Open” field please enter address http://ktu-r.bt.ktu.lt:8000 for 192 kbps stereo stream, o http://ktu-r.bt.ktu.lt:8002 for 128 kbps stereo stream.

3. When I click “Listen” link, IE/FF open the “Page not found” page.

The problem can occur due to two reasons:
A. We are preparing station servers for technical profilactic. Please turn on the radio player after a short break.
B. There occured network problems (e.g. wrong router settings, blocked ips, etc.). In this case please contact Your network administrator to resolve current problem.

4. When I listen to radio Gaudeamus, I hear horrible techno music !!!

This problem will never occur in any conditions :) You have listened not to Gaudeamus. We are jazz radio ! :)
